The Stage Featuring an impressive cast and accompanied by a live Orchestra numbering over 30 musicians. After its successful season of Madama Butterfly, Carmen and La Traviata last year, Russian State Opera returns to delight you with the premiere of Opera, AIDA. Verdi brings ancient Egypt to the stage with an evolving love story set against the backdrop of war. Aida, the princess of Ethiopia, falls in love with Radames, an Egyptian General who is also besotted by her. Radames is chosen to lead the war with Ethiopia by the king and Aida is left to choose between her lover or her father and her country. A gripping love story that will keep you on the edge of your seats until the very end, featuring the famous aria 'Se quel Guerrier io fossi!' and the powerful melody of the Triumphal March. A deeply moving opera overflowing with emotion, AIDA is an unforgettable, inspiring experience.
