Join Curious Arts for a day of fun-packed, free creative activities for all the family, including colourful arts and crafts, storytimes, workshops, lip-sync battles, face painting, dress-up station and more! Activities include… STORYTIME* Join Pam the Dinner Lady as they read their favourite binary-breaking picture books. Expect colourful stories that celebrate love, diversity and family! FLOWER CROWNS Create your own vibrant flower headband with colourful crepe and tissue paper, inspired by LGBTQIA+ rights advocate Marsha P. Johnson. BADGE MAKING Design a badge that you can wear with pride and watch it being built by our badge maker. PROUD PEOPLE Design a paper character that celebrates you, your individuality and the things you love, or choose a family member to capture in paper form! FACE PAINTING Take a break from crafting and show your personality with a colourful design of your choice from our Face Painter. LIP SYNC BATTLE* Cheer on your favourite artist in a fun-filled family-friendly lip sync battle! Join the glittering action with laughter, dance, and fierce moves. EXPRESS YOURSELF* Dive into our dressing up box to create an amazing outfit and practice power poses and dance moves that celebrate everything that’s unique and brilliant about you! CURIOUS FAMILY ART TRAIL Explore the theatre to search for families of all shapes and sizes! Track down all six artworks to claim a small prize. and more! *These activities have timed sessions throughout the event. All timings will be shared on the day.
