Opening The Closet Doors (Screening)

Come along and celebrate Pride with us and uncover our LGBTQ+ heritage with OPENING THE CLOSET DOORS. A brand new film made by local LGBTQ+ people in response to the LGBTQ+ themes, histories, stories and inspirations contained in the Darlington Hippodrome archive. Packed with all kinds of creative responses from musical numbers to poetry to shadow puppetry, it is sure to be an absolutely unforgettable and truly unique evening! A perfect blend of silly and heartfelt, creative and informative. The film will be followed by a presentation from the artists involved in making the project. Dressing up is not mandatory but absolutely welcomed! AGE GUIDANCE 14+ The screening will be subtitled and the presentation will have a BSL interpreter.
